So book 2 in the Guardian Series is called Allegiant. Several more characters are introduced that have a big impact on Emma's life. Along with a huge secret. Can she survive the danger that is coming her way? And will she finally realize how she feels about Dane? Before it is too late?
I am loving how Sara is developing the characters and relationships. It doesn't feel rushed as you read the story. And even if you have not read the first book, you can easily pick up and get an understanding of what is going on.

Emma is still learning to deal with the fact James is a Guardian, and the fact that he can see and feel everything she does. She is also trying to fight her feelings she has for Dane. But trouble is following her closely. When she has to run to stay safe she has to lie to her family and close friends. Emma also begins to realize that she is in control of her life. And yes, she does still love James, but she needs to move on.
